CASE MANAGER

I’ve always believed that everyone deserves a warrior in their corner, no matter the circumstances. My passion for criminal defense comes from a deep-seated desire to help others in their most vulnerable moments. I firmly believe that every individual should have the chance to learn from their mistakes and not let one misstep define their entire life.

I have been working in the criminal defense field for several years, starting with a degree in criminology from Kansas State University. Before becoming the Director of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) for a criminal defense lawyers’ association, I spent time in various roles that strengthened my dedication to helping others. As an elementary science teacher with Teach for America, a previous CASA volunteer, and a juvenile intake worker, I gained invaluable experience that deepened my understanding of the law, its impact on individuals, and how crucial it is to advocate for those who may not be able to advocate for themselves.

Raised in Kansas with a family legacy in criminal defense—my grandfather and father both practiced law—I grew up with a profound respect for the profession. These roots shaped my belief in the power of the law to create positive change. Working with this firm has been a rewarding experience because of our shared passion and unwavering commitment to our clients. What sets us apart is our dedication to going above and beyond for those we represent, ensuring they have the best chance at moving forward in life. Outside of my career, I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with my family, and exploring new cuisines and dining experiences.
