About
Diana has been passionate about helping others since she was very young. Her journey began in Colombia when she was just 16 years old, when her school projects involved caring for young children and teaching them numbers and vowels. She quickly discovered how much she enjoyed working with people, especially those who needed a little extra support, patience, or guidance. That early experience helped shape the person she is today and her desire to continue finding ways to help others.
Diana has always been curious about the world and interested in learning new languages, believing that communication is one of the best ways to connect with people from different backgrounds and understand new perspectives. After spending years teaching herself English, she began working in hotels and restaurants in her hometown of Santa Marta, Colombia, where she could practice the language while doing something she truly enjoyed: meeting people from all over the world and sharing the beauty of her hometown with them.
Growing up surrounded by beaches, mountains, and the natural beauty of the Caribbean coast, Diana has always loved exploring and discovering new places. Working in tourism gave her the opportunity to meet people from many different countries and cultures, and she loved being able to share some of the places she loved most, including the beautiful Tayrona Park. For her, helping someone have a great experience and creating a meaningful connection, even through something as simple as recommending a favorite place, was incredibly rewarding.
When the pandemic changed the way people worked and traveled, many of the places and activities Diana loved were temporarily closed. With patience and a little bit of good luck, she found an opportunity to work for a well-known call center in Colombia. Although the work was very different from what she had done before, it allowed her to continue doing what she enjoyed most: meeting people and helping them solve problems, whether big or small. She soon realized, however, that she wanted to find a career where she could make a deeper and more meaningful impact.
That opportunity came when Diana joined Benjamin Law Firm as an Intake Specialist. She was grateful for the chance to become part of a team dedicated to helping people navigate difficult moments in their lives and work toward getting things back on track. Her experience helping clients understand their options and guiding them through the beginning of their legal journey eventually led her to her current role as a Case Manager.
Today, Diana enjoys being able to continue supporting clients throughout their cases, helping them stay informed, organized, and connected with the firm. She believes that one of the most important parts of her work is making sure clients feel heard and supported during what can often be a stressful and confusing time. She is proud to work for a firm whose mission goes beyond simply handling legal matters and focuses on genuinely helping people move forward with their lives. For Diana, what makes Benjamin Law Firm different is the people behind it and the personal care they bring to each case.
Diana has been with the firm since 2023 and has continued to grow professionally through her different roles and experiences. Her background in customer service, tourism, communication, and client support has taught her the importance of patience, empathy, attention to detail, and treating every person with kindness and respect. She brings those lessons into her work every day as a Case Manager.
Diana is originally from Santa Marta, Colombia, where she still lives today. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and exploring the beautiful places around her hometown. She also loves spending time with her dog, Rho, who is her constant companion and makes working from home a little more fun. Diana still hopes to learn more languages in the future, but for now, she is happy continuing to learn, grow, and do what she loves: helping others while connecting with people from different walks of life.
